Blurbos Rating (4)
Winter’s Heart is slow-paced, but it is also very character-driven. The characters are all faced with difficult choices, and they must learn to live with the consequences of their actions.
The Perrin and Elayne storylines in this one are a bit of a slog. Matt makes his triumphant return to the series, which was welcome. The ending to this one is absolutely worth trudging through the middle, and is a reason I gave it a 4 star instead of somewhere in the 3s.
