Yet ANOTHER damn fine installment in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
The races were pretty interesting. I love that each floor comes up with a new theme for us to follow along with. It gives flavor. It lets us jump from Faction Wars straight into another floor, which I love. The vehicle and upgrade system is awesome.
Karaoke was honestly the most chaotic bit of listening I think I’ve ever done. I LOVED THIS PART. The karaoke scene alone is worth listening to the entire series, just to build to this one part.
The Pineapple Cabaret plan is a solid adventure, and now I’ve learned I need the hardcovers to appreciate it even more, so I guess I’ll need to invest in that.
The ending to this one is pretty spectacular. I have no idea how there are only two books left, or what the culmination of all of this will be, but I also have enjoyed the ride so much that it doesn’t matter. I’ll be happy however it goes.
