Post apocalypse Earth ghost world was a wild touch to this one. I really dug that idea of scenery for this floor. I also like that we started with a ghost world, which evolved into a cataclysmic demon world.
The card battles on this floor were an awesome touch. Just a brilliant way to incorporate another game mode into the universe, and of course Princess Donut is the “deckmaster.” Uzi Jesus and Shi Maria? Yes, please.
Carl unleashing an army of Sluggalos (Juggalos, but slugs) born from infected strippers is one of the most ridiculous and hilarious thing this series has done yet. The AI is completely unhinged at this point, breaking its own rules and funneling everyone into a massive bloodbath in Cuba.
Sister Ines’s whole fanaticism arc is wild. And the ending is total chaos. Carl getting forcibly merged with the Bedlam Bride? A lot of questions there, so on to the next!
Still love this series. It’s brilliant.
