Carl’s Doomsday Scenario (the second book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series) was a wild ride. We got awesome new class choices, the Desperado Club (my new t-shirt is on the way), a whole city-wide conspiracy, and a BOMB. The storyline with Signet was also a fantastic touch.
The audiobook is a 10/10. Jeff Hays is a master narrator. My only problem is that I think this series has ruined every other audiobook or LitRPG for me by being too good. An incredible listen!
I’m a little sad that I don’t have any reading highlights for this series, which is infinitely quotable, but I’m really, really enjoying the listen.
